“During my two months of volunteering in Spain 🇪🇸, I worked mainly with children, organizing and leading creative activities 🎨, especially in the afternoons and weekends.

We did hands-on workshops like papier-mâché, mosaics, and flower-making 🌸—all focused on imagination and sensory play ✨. It was my first experience with kids, and it taught me a lot: adapting quickly, thinking on my feet, and finding new ideas when things didn’t go as planned 💡

I also took part in small community moments, like shared lunches 🍽️ and everyday life together.

This experience allowed me to learn a lot, both personally and culturally. Discovering Spanish culture from the inside was incredibly enriching, and even though the time passed very quickly, I will keep very fond memories of it. ❤️‍🔥

“Durante mis dos meses de voluntariado en España 🇪🇸, trabajé principalmente con niños, organizando y llevando a cabo actividades creativas 🎨, sobre todo por las tardes y los fines de semana.

Realizamos talleres prácticos como papel maché, mosaicos y creación de flores 🌸, todos enfocados en la imaginación y la exploración sensorial ✨. Fue mi primera experiencia trabajando con niños, y me enseñó muchísimo: a adaptarme rápido, pensar sobre la marcha y encontrar nuevas ideas cuando las cosas no salían como esperaba 💡

También participé en pequeños momentos de comunidad, como comidas compartidas 🍽️ y la vida cotidiana en grupo.

Working with kids—playing sports and videogames—was a great way to keep the atmosphere positive and energetic. 🎮⚽️ It was all about creating a space where they could genuinely enjoy themselves.

“El voluntariado en Vilagarcía de Arousa fue una experiencia realmente divertida y gratificante. 🇪🇸 El pueblo es muy acogedor y no tardé mucho en sentirme parte de la comunidad.

Trabajar con niños, practicando deportes y jugando a videojuegos, fue una forma estupenda de mantener un ambiente positivo y enérgico. 🎮⚽️ Se trataba de crear un espacio en el que pudieran disfrutar de verdad.

También adquirí experiencia práctica en la organización de eventos y la enseñanza de calistenia, lo que me enseñó mucho sobre el trabajo en equipo y la flexibilidad. 🤸‍♂️ Además, disfrazarme de dinosaurio me recordó que no hay que tomarse a uno mismo demasiado en serio. 🦖
